Mea Culpa
Now, it's about this friend of a friend
She's a PE teacher, anyway
She's walking home one day
When she sees this baby
Its pram parked outside a shop
And she picks it out
And runs down the street.
All she really remembers
Was the stop-watch
On its chord, round her neck
Beating her hard in the chest
As she ran
Carrying the baby.
